Here is exactly what we check, what we record, and what happens if something goes wrong. Every claim on this page describes a step that actually runs before and during your booking.

How Care Partners are screened
Becoming a Care Partner is an application, not a sign-up. Every applicant completes our onboarding requirements before they can appear in the directory or accept a single booking.
Criminal background screening is ordered through Checkr, a third-party consumer reporting agency, and must be complete before activation.
Screening status is reviewed by our team for currency; expiring checks are flagged for re-screening.
Care Partners who do not complete every required step stay unbookable — the gate fails closed.
Identity verification
We confirm that the person on the profile is the person who arrives at your door.
Government-issued ID verification is completed through Stripe Identity during onboarding.
Signed agreements are tied to that verified legal identity.
Profile name and photo are reviewed by our team before publication.
Required agreements and policies
Before serving a customer, each Care Partner electronically signs our service agreement and acknowledges the policies that govern how care is delivered — including scope limits, conduct standards, and incident-reporting duties. Signatures are captured through DocuSign and retained as part of the Care Partner's record.
Booking and payment records
Every booking keeps an auditable trail so there is never a question about what was agreed or what was charged.
Your quote, approved add-ons, discounts, and any travel fee are itemized before you pay.
Payments run through Stripe; card details are entered with Stripe and never stored by us.
Receipts and payment history stay available in your account.
Status changes, messages, and payments are timestamped in the booking record.
What "Confirmed" means
A booking is not confirmed until the required payment is received. Requested means we have your request. Awaiting approval means we are reviewing it. Approved means the service is approved but not yet paid. Confirmed — and only Confirmed — means your dates are held and your Care Partner is scheduled.
If something goes wrong
Care Partners are required to report incidents to us promptly, and you can raise a concern at any time.
Report a concern by replying to any booking email, messaging us in the app, or calling our support line.
We acknowledge the report, record it against the booking, and contact you with next steps.
Safety emergencies should always go to 911 first — tell us immediately afterward.
Support and escalation
You are dealing with a local team, not an anonymous queue. Support requests reach our care team directly, and issues that cannot be resolved at first contact are escalated to the owner. We are not a 24/7 staffed support line; urgent safety matters should go to emergency services.
What we do not provide
Being clear about our limits is part of being trustworthy. Sasha Lasha Services provides non-medical care only. We do not provide nursing, home-health, licensed personal-care, or medical services, and Care Partners do not perform tasks outside the approved scope of the booked service.
